I think we all dream about shedding the often times heavy cloak of responsibility and the repetitiveness of our daily lives and heading to distance places. That once there all our problems will cease to be, our spirituality will grow in a more profound way and we will suddenly find the answers to some or all our questions. And there is just the pure excitement, delight and adventure of doing it.
A commen thread I see as I read of people doing this is that they have the funds, are usually unattached with some type of connection either personally or through friends and associates who have traveled there prior. And lets not forget the higher education.
If your a person that has not had the luxury of finishing college because life interceded in unforseen ways, it puts a bigger crimp on your ability to successfully throw everything aside and traipse across the world until you find what your looking for. Or just enjoying the pure wonders that God created for us. I'm not saying its impossible just a bit tougher. Yes, there are exceptions and this blurb is only my personal perception at moment. Bottom line? I would not be averse to doing it!
