I came across “Kundilini Yoga by Maya Fiennes” a short time ago and decided to give it a try. After six weeks of journeying through several of her DVDs, I have found it to be the perfect practice for me. Her philosophy of good health and living with inner peace and confidence strikes a chord with me. Kundilini is a sequence of movements, breath, mantra and chants (all set to her own music)to awaken your spirit, energize the body and relax the mind. It seems to be one of the easiest forms of yoga to learn and I have found it to produce results very quickly. The simplicity and energy of her teaching has brought me the ability to quiet my mind (which I’ve never been able to accomplish before) and begin to feel comfortable in my own body. I actually feel more intune and balanced and confident with myself.
