I've spent over a year trying to decide about getting serious with blog and other creative enterprises. Less talk more action was needed so I purchased a domain name and upgraded my site which at this moment is still in the building process. I did all this with a year timeline in mind. I figure this is ample time to see if I succeed or fail. Either way I stepped out of my comfort zone and took myself seriously. In the near future I will have my product page up as well.

Mark & I had been working towards a long held dream the last months of 2019. We decided that we would end 2019 rolling free and easy down the road into a New Year and decade. We took a northern route from Indiana through Illinois, Iowa and Nebraska to spend Christmas with our son and his young family in Colorado. We ended our visit with an afternoon of sledding down their driveway before we left the following day. From there we wound our way south through New Mexico into Texas. Greeted the New Year in a hotel in Beaumont TX, just us and our spoiled wolf dog Mahika. Then we rolled through Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky and reluctantly back into Indiana. We had no preset plans or expectations and stopped in random places that caught our attention. We did some winter "camping" which meant that a couple times we slept in 20 degree temps in the back of the truck we had somewhat geared out with a custom cap , small heater and hefty comforter. It became very clear to us what needed fine tuning for future trips! I took some good photographs and also missed some because I was caught up in the wonder of seeing in the moment. We found a freedom we hadn't had and places we want to go explore further.
