Love a sunny November Saturday that promises to be warm. As usual I started my morning with coffee and journaling. Writing wasn't coming easy so I did a quick silly sketch which opened the thought process. I realized I hadn't been sketching or painting or tapping into anything creative for awhile. I decided to begin a practice of a quick sketch or two every morning with a pen or marker. It forces me to let whatever shows up, however it turns out, be what it is. No erasures, no fussing, just free flow of sorts. Maybe it will get me back on track. Maybe it will help me refine some techniques and stop jumping all over the place constantly. It also allowed for my mind to run free, which brought some clarifying thoughts in regards to a couple ideas I have been mulling over and over and getting nowhere with. I jotted some notes around another quick sketch and moved over here . I am keeping it short because I want to get outdoors.

Nice Babe! I see progression with every sketch you post (or show me personally).
